"it's awful both ways"

joy division

i just saw Control, the new movie about joy division, and it was superb.

the band was named after the nazi's sexual slavery rings in the concentration camps. nice, huh ?

a lot of their music is too gloomy + weird but i like one called Disorder.

The bring back Kid

well well well look what the cat dragged in..

annoying girl is back! who am i? ill never tell... god damnit gossip girl is my idol. she has it all... the gossip, the pictures, the world wide web at her finger tips... i mean i get all my material from her and she does not disapoint. but i digress lets get to the bring backs... here are a couple of words that have made there appearences in our every day conversations but have some how faded out.. and i intend to bring them back.

Cooper (coo-per) noun, verb, pronoun, adjective: this word is positive.. its expressive.. its different. use it in a sentence you ask? sure.
" Hey Nick that shirt its TOTALLY coooper!!!"
or
" Hey andrea check out my moves" response " COOPPPER!!!"
it can stand along or in a group of words also known as a sentence. its a great word that should be used alot more.

Nelson:(nee-l-sun)n.v.adj. : this is a negitive word. just when you had enough, and you dont want to use the same old same old i suggest you throw a nelson there way.
" God, Cary is being such a Nelson. no drinking or smoking? what the fuck"
Or
" take that jacket it off! it reaks nelson... ugh im going to vom."

BroBro(ber-o-ber-o) noun. a pal, friend, amigo.. compondre... you get it..
" Hey brobro you want to chill later?"
Now, just so you know "brobro" can never be used as a single "bro" it takes away from its whole appeal. it can not and must not be used other then brobro... it speaks volumes in double..

Steller (st-el-lor) adj. awesome. to be cool, to be great.. its just...
(talking to the cook at a diner) " excuse me, sir? these motzzy stix are Steller!" makes you feel good, the cook feel good... and its different.

JAM! (ja-am) adj. just awesomeness. when something is very exciting you end a sentence with it OR resond with it.
" im having a huge party on saturday and everyone is going to be there!" response: "JAM!" (this is usually followed by a jump and an air five... its a little 80's but thats why its a bring back.. duh.

Raven (ray-ven) n,pronoun, adv. this word can not be thrown around. you have to say it when you truly mean it. when something is so cool, so aweosme, so out there that you need..no no... you feel you have to express yourself with a "raven".
" hey guys, i just found 100 bucks on the street and im buying everyone a round at the bar!"
response: (this also may be sung to the toon from the hit show starring raven simone) " THATS SOOOO RAVEN!" can you hear it? can you feel it... i got chills... and there multiplin...which leads me to my next order of business..

id love for people to start responding to things in lyrics or song names/phrases:

" ugh i just had a killer work out" response: "dont stop TILL you get enough!"

" i wish i had more popcorn. this movie is going to suck without it." " tell me about it! gimmie, gimmie...gimmie more..."

" god its so bright out here!" break into song...... " i wear my suuunglasses at night, so i cant so i cant see the lighhhtt....!

and that concludes by blog bring backs. i hope you all take these into consideration and use all of these in your everyday lives.. including at work. make some friends. get out there. here are just a couple to sit on as future bring ups: chump, chumps, fupa, fugly, funesse, the return of the ingys... they made an appreance not to long ago.. but should be re considered and i just thought of this one.. "devito". when something is short, funny and a little out a place... just yell out divitoooo!!!!

George Michael Bluth kept me up all night long

GMB himself was filming a movie outside my apartment last night til 2:30. he is just as awkward and funny in real life as he is in arrested development, etc. the older sister from 40 year old virgin is in it, too.

greg and i had to restrain ourselves from screaming GEORGEMICHAEL!!!!! and/or disrupting the shoot by throwing things on the actors.

GM spent the whole filming inside a small orange car while someone tried to jumpstart it. there were a lot of overacting extras who were randomly picked to walk around pretending to be drunk. there were 2 spunky mary's who worked that street crossing like a runway + one girl who couldn't have been older than 14 drove her vespa around the block until they let her be an extra.

they were filming for about 9 hours and i swear they probably filmed like a minute of movie. most of the time the actors had to stand around and get their make up fixed (not GMB, though. he has the face of an angel) and smoke ciggies and drink coffee. i mean, where do i sign ?

the movie is called nick and nora's something or other + it won't be about til 2009.

Guest B to the Logger...

Mondays... cant beat em..but for an out of work assistant they are pretty run of the mill. in a half an hour i get the distinct pleasure of watching the Steve Wilko show...and if you dont know what that is then consider your self happily employed. YES ladies and gentlemen there is even worse day time television then what you remember from "sick days" in high school. Even jerry Springer's body guard has his own prime time TV show. its sleezy, cheezy and after the show is finished, i have a strong connection to trailers, termites, and the occasional hot rod. but thats just a monday. dont get me started on Tuesdays.. so lets hit the reviews to choose shall we?:

Reviews to Choose:

FAT CAMP: when the going gets tough eat something, At least thats what most of the kids on this mtv Documentary say. god damnit this is the best documentary iv every seen. Petey i.e. the casanova fat kid, who couldnt be more annoying with his lame cheesy pick up lines and his side burns of achne is a high light of this documentary. my favorite scene with petey would definitely have to be when he tried to set up Doug ( the sterotypical fat kid who cant get a date) Petey lets Doug in on the secret to pickin up girls. This crime against humanity started by Doug moisturize his three chubby chins and then petey telling him to kiss all the ladies on the cheek and call them "babe". my skin is crawling.

But who could forget my favorite character. the bread winner, the one who made the show, she sprained four ankles had roommates bitching ON her, her towel fell down before she went into the shower a couple of times.... who is this strong individual you ask? who could over come such embaressament and adversity? DIANE!!.. if i could just get an up to date bio on this broad my life would be complete. recently, i heard, okay i didnt but i know because it said so at the end of the documentary that she started high school in 2006. She is no longer home schooled and is loving her life. she, like most of the fat kid creamsickles gained more then half the weight back. her stomach, honestly, could have broken her back.. which just goes to show you how resilant the human body is... yikes. This show meant so much too me and im sure many others. diane has become a staple in many of my everyday references and made me see why i am so vain. so all i can say is see it, if you cant get your grimy little paws on it i got a boot leg. true story. so that is it for my reviews to choose... and ill leave you off on this note.. please enjoy...

ps: and i do quote directly:
Dianne: If you just would have told me I stank, I would have tooken [sic] a shower. But I thought you guys were being a bitch to me. Just tell me I stink, I'll take a fucking shower.
Girl in Dianne's cabin: When we say you need to take a shower, I thought that means you need to take a shower.

wait a minute

Publicly, the United States maintained neutrality during the eight-year Iran-Iraq war, which began in 1980.
Privately, however, the administrations of Reagan and the first President Bush sold military goods to Iraq, including poisonous chemicals and deadly biological agents, worked to stop the flow of weapons to Iran, and undertook discreet diplomatic initiatives, such as two Rumsfeld trips to Baghdad, to improve relations with Saddam.
